Naman Karl-Thomas Habtom
Naman Karl-Thomas Habtom is a PhD student at the University of Cambridge and previously a a guest researcher at the Hans Blix Centre at Stockholm University, Université libre de Bruxelles, and at the Swedish Defence University. His research focuses on modern European military and diplomatic history. His journal article in the Scandinavian Journal of Military Studies examines the role and efficacy of foreign combatants fighting for Ukraine. He has also written on the implications of sanctions on the Wagner Group and potential effects on African countries.
