Christopher Daset Franco
Christopher Enrique Daset Franco is a Police Officer of the National Police of Uruguay and holds a degree in Public Security, with an extensive career in leadership, teaching and project management in the field of security. He holds an MBA in Business Management and Administration (Spain) and a Master in Design, Management and Project Development (Puerto Rico). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Law and Social Sciences at the University of the Republic (Uruguay). Since 2014, he has been teaching at the National Directorate of Police Education, where he teaches subjects such as Administration and Management of Organisations, Research Methodology, Project Management and Leadership. Currently, he teaches at the Uruguayan Institute of Technical Standards (UNIT), specialising in the management of security operations and risk management under international ISO standards. At the professional level, he held strategic roles as Project Manager at the General Directorate of Business Control, Secretary of Academic Coordination and Human Resources Manager at the National Directorate of Police Education. At the international level, he is an International Observer at the International Code of Conduct Association (Switzerland), representing the Uruguayan State. In addition to his teaching and professional work, Christopher acts as an organisational improvement consultant, focusing on the development and implementation of continuous improvement methodologies, process optimisation and organisational leadership. He has published works related to police training and continuing education in virtual environments, and obtained key certifications such as Project Management Technician (IPMA), Scrum Foundation Professional, as well as various professional certifications in ISO standards. His professional profile is oriented towards continuous improvement, innovation and ethics, contributing to the strengthening and professionalisation of the public and private security sector.
