Ian Gordon

Ian is the founder of IDG Security, a Private Security Company offering its services in challenging contexts such as Myanmar, Afghanistan or Somalia. A former British Army officer commissioned into the 7th Duke of Edinburgh’s Own Gurkha Rifles, Ian subsequently saw active service as an officer in HM the Sultan of Oman’s Armed Forces both during the war in Dhofar in the 1970s and afterwards in Oman. Subsequently he commanded in the rank of Assistant Commissioner, the Gurkha Contingent of the Singapore Police Force.
