
Jo Anthoine
Jo Anthoine is Senior Director Risk, Insurance and Welfare for GardaWorld, the world’s largest privately owned security services company. She is responsible for corporate risk management and the broad subject of welfare, including crisis response, mental health, family liaison and clinical governance. Ms. Anthoine has over 15 years’ experience working in the PSC industry and has used it to develop a bespoke approach to post incident welfare, based on research and best practice. Before joining GardaWorld, Ms. Anthoine spent nine years working for Aegis Defence Service and prior to that worked for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. She has a BA Hons degree in International Business with French, and has trained extensively in trauma focused post-incident support. As well as working for GardaWorld, Ms. Anthoine acts as a trustee for 3Pillars Project, a charity working with prisoners and young offenders.
