Jonathan Drimmer

Jonathan C. Drimmer is a partner at Paul Hastings law firm, specializing in anti-corruption, human rights, and complex cross-border challenges. With extensive experience as Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Barrick Gold, he is renowned for developing industry-standard compliance programs. He is a respected speaker, author, and advocate, representing and advising various entities on anti-corruption and human rights issues. With a background as Deputy Director of the Criminal Division's Office of Special Investigations, he has directed numerous investigations worldwide and handled high-profile enforcement proceedings. Mr. Drimmer served on the board of directors of the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights Initiative from 2012-2014, and again from 2015-2017. He serves on the boards of directors of the UN Global Compact’s Canada Network, Transparency International Canada, Fund for Peace, and the TRACE Foundation. He is on the steering committee of the UN Global Compact Business for Peace Initiative, on the expert advisory board for the US OECD National Contact Point, on the faculty of Competent Boards, and he is a subject matter expert at Canada’s Centre for Excellence on Anti-Corruption.
