Vincent Bernard
Vincent Bernard is Senior Policy Advisor at ICoCA and serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Private Security Conversations. He studied political science, law and international relations. He worked in humanitarian operations in West and East Africa and in the Middle East and was head of communication for Africa before heading up global field communication at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). For 10 years he was editor in chief of the International Review of the Red Cross, published by the ICRC and Cambridge University Press and head of the the unit leading ICRC’s research and outreach on humanitarian law and policy. Vincent Bernard is also visiting lecturer at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights.
